Artist Name

Wise Vega

Where are you from?

New York

How has your city and influenced your music?

Being from Harlem, the city's culture has influenced my music a lot. Being basically raised by Mase and Cam'ron's music has influenced me to do the same. Wanting to be the freshest and get the girls is all I ever wanted to do. So that culture comes out in my music, but at the same time being around drugs and poverty seeps in also. I don't like to "promote" street life but its hard not to when its at your front door and your whole family is in the street. thank God I didn't get sucked in myself.

What song, video or project are you most proud of to date?

The song I am most proud of to date is "Hola". Hola has gotten me the furthest as far as exposure with radio play, blog placements, and movie placements. My favorite video is "Wow" due to the quality of the video. I wasn't prepared of how professional that video looked. My favorite project has yet to come. I have gotten progressively better each project so I will say my next and the one after and the one after. My progress is sick.

What do you enjoy about bout being a hip-hop artist?

Pursuing my dream when so many are afraid to do so. People are cowards, afraid to be what they want to be. Not I.

What can people expect from you over the next 6 months?

Grind, Pushing, determination! Pushing my single "Fall Off" produced by Traxx Trigga. Nothing will stop me from my goals for this record, but I rather my actions speak louder than my words.

What advice would you give to yourself a few years ago?

You cant start from the top, everyone must grind from mud. Sometimes you think you are ready and you are not.

What do you most look forward to about A3C Festival & Conference?

Proving that I am better than my counterparts. Pushing my legacy. Seeing Cam kill the stage.
