How has your city and influenced your music?
The Midwest is an amalgamation of every region in the country. That has a great deal of influence mainly because I infuse so many different genres to create my own sound.
What song, video or project are you most proud of to date?
It would be my forthcoming debut album TARGET which will be released September 22nd, 2015. It's available for pre-order wherever digital music is sold. Alongside this release I wrote a book titled TARGET Practice which drops a week later on BarnesAndNoble.com. The amount of patience it took to craft these two releases is something I'm very proud of.
What do you enjoy about bout being a hip-hop artist?
The thing I enjoy about being a hip-hop artist is the freedom of expression it welcomes. I believe when done correctly and honestly there's not a genre more relate-able and eye-opening than hip-hop.
What can people expect from you over the next 6 months?
The release of my debut album and book TARGET and the TARGET tour. Which will be my second headlining tour.
What advice would you give to yourself a few years ago?
Patience. Continue to be patient. The best is yet to come.
What do you most look forward to about A3C Festival & Conference?
Connecting with my peers and making new acquaintances. And of course, the live shows!
