Longtime collaborators Famsquad and Thoth Set team up for 'Monarch Life'. Omekka, Doc Phibs and Pitch Black use nimble wordplay over production provided by Cam Julkes and KEEYNOTE. Expect new projects from Famsquad and get to know the official A3C artists below:

Where are you from?
Hammond, In

How has your city and influenced your music?
Omekka : Chicago and Indiana influenced everything. From style to slang to mindset. You make it here you can make it anywhere. Slick Da Capo: My city influences my music a lot. I'm back and forth from Clarksdale (Mississippi) and Memphis (Tennessee), the two cities in the south that have a great deal of music history.

What song, video or project are you most proud of to date?
Omekka: Vegas lights because that got a lot of radio play and put us on that next level. Video I would say “A-List Celebrity” with Camp Lo that was put first video on MTV . Project i say rebirth and “Lust Of Money” (“Rebirth sold 8k copies). Slick Da Capo: Really I'm proud of everything that comes from Famsquad because we always work so hard on everything we do. "Blow Vol.1” really meant a lot to me because that was my official debut to the world and it did very well so I would say I'm very proud of that.

What do you enjoy about bout being a hip-hop artist?
Omekka: I love being an indie artist. It provides a living and it also brings people together. Slick Da Capo: I really enjoy traveling to different cities and performing. It’s a feeling I can't explain plus I get to work with artist I always admired musically.

What can people expect from you over the next 6 months?
Omekka: We love and appreciate our fans and they’re finally going to see the first glimpses of the ‘Sport Coat Willie’ project before the tail end of the year. Let’s just say we’ll be starting the new year off with a bang. Slick Da Capo: The next six months should be huge for me and the group.I got “Blow Vol.2” due out this fall with a visual in the plans, then we got the sport coat music ep.which also has great visuals in the making, including snap back sport coat wille hats scheduled to be released Tuesday September 15 log on towww.keeynote.com for the official sport coat wille hat press release.

What advice would you give to yourself a few years ago?
As a collective we've always been focused but now it's a matter of being as efficient as possible with time. When your fan base grows as quickly as it has for us it's important to be optimize every second we have.

What do you most look forward to about A3C Festival & Conference?
Omekka: I look forward to performing and giving people our art. Slick Da Capo: I'm really looking forward to being in the Atlanta atmosphere and rocking the stage with mysquad, plus this is my first time attending the AC3 festival and Conference so I'm really excited about this event.
